Review: Pur~lisse Pur~moist Hydra-balance Moisturizer

This spring has left me totally dry irritated and pink as anything. My skin never transitions well with the seasons but this spring was especially bad. It left me wishing I had minions to stand around and moisturize me. I never thought I would be jealous of a fictional thing of skin but seriously I am.

moisturize me

I don’t know why but I have always steered away from anti aging products. In the past the ones I tried always left my face greasy and unhappy. I was dying though or at least my skin thought it was. I was desperate and I had this little bottle of anti-aging lotion from a birchbox long ago. So I tried it and it was seriously amazing.

Overall 9.9/10

Seriously the best thing that has happened to me beauty wise in a looong time. I put this all over my face and give myself a very gentle massage with this lotion. I’ve even noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin (smoother, more even, and soft as baby butts). Never mind that though. I don’t get random pimples anymore! Apparently my breakouts were moisture related and this product solved all of my problems.

Scent 10/10

Very little smell to this product and what little there is is herbal. No complaints here.

Texture

This product is creamy but feels water based to me. It glides on smoothly and evenly.

Application 10/10

I apply this with my fingers all over my face and gently massage my facial muscles.

Packaging 10/10

No complaints here. I only wish this was a bit cheaper for how much you get. I cannot complain too much though because it is clearly a very good product and my little bottle seems to be lasting a long time.

Effectiveness 10/10

Seriously moisturized. No idea about the anti-aging effects but my skin certainly looks and feels better than I can ever remember.
