ModelCO Blush Cheek Powder in Cosmopolitan

$18

This is a beautiful deep slightly raspberry rose shade. It blends beautifully and lasts fairly long. It’ll make it thought my work day at least but fade later on.

Originally I thought this shade would be too dark for me but it looks wonderful. I have been using this almost every day for weeks sometimes blending bit of a brighter blush on the apples of my cheeks to brighten my face up.

I received this in my BoxyCharm box last month which to be honest BoxyCharm is the BEST makeup subscription box I’ve tried. There is always at least 2 full sized products I love and now use all the time.  It is a little more expensive but I digress.

Maybelline Color Show ® Nail lacquer in Gilded-Rose

$3.99

These polish bottles are a little small but I don’t tend to run out very quickly. The Maybelline polishes run for 3.99 but I got this polish during a buy one get one sale at Ulta.

This seriously banging shade was a part of the new Maybelline nude shades. It has a gold foil base with rose gold glitter and seriously makes your nails look like they were dipped in gold and flecked with roses.

It has a heavy application for a top coat. There is so much sparkle it just covers the coloring underneath. I did apply this with a sponge for an ombre sparkle which turned out awesome. When you apply it over a colorful color (like the mint shade I used) the color barely peeks through but can contrast the glitter pretty well.

Overall I LOVE this shade. I’m considering going back to pick up another bottle just in case they never have it again.

Lorac afterGLO Eye Shadow Palette

Limited time only, $24

The perfect summer palette, to compliment any tan. Seriously pigmented, soft, velvety teals, golds, peaches and tans. Enough glittery shades and matte shades to make almost any look. I am a huge Lorac eye shadow fan and tend to order everything they come out with but this was a knockout.

I think I could go the whole summer using only this palette.

Too Faced Paparazzi Ready kit

$40 at Sephora

This little kit (with the afterglow) would be enough for the summer I think. This kit has everything you need for a basic glowing look with perhaps a one shade smokey eye.

Serious love for this kit. It is a bargain for your buck as well at only $40 dollars. It contains:

  • Full Size Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder in Milk Chocolate
  • Mini LashGASM Mascara in Black
  • Full Size Sweet Sun Shines Lip Gloss in Mocha
  • Deluxe Mini Tinted Beauty Balm in Cream Glow
  • Full Size Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Perfect Black

$20 (4oz)

Fekkai Glossing Cream 4oz

My holy grail for smooth shiny hair. I use this (along with my Argon Oil from Organix) on my wet hair before blow-drying with a round brush. This keeps my hair from puffing out like a poodle and it’s so shiny afterwards.

A little goes a long way as well. I use about a pea and half of the cream on my palms and spread over my hair. Sometimes I use a tiny bit more if it is really humid outside to fight my frizzy mop into submission.

I tried the shampoo and Conditioner from this line as well but it seemed to weight down my hair too much. Maybe they would work better for thicker haired ladies.  Good thing I got samples!

Nyx Butter Gloss in Crème Brulee

$4.99

I am not a lip gloss kind of lady, but maybe this is a change because I’ve been wearing a lot more lately. Yet again I have a Nyx Lip product on my favorites.  This gloss goes on nicely, and lasts way longer than I would expect for a gloss. I found it was still glossy maybe 4-5 hours after application. It did not make it through my lunch but that’s to be expected.

As far as the color goes this is a pretty neutral peachy pink, but really what I love is the formula.

My only problem with Nyx lippies is the lack of safety seals. Especially on glosses, and creams because you cannot tell if it has been used or not.
