As I am sure you all know today is Mother’s day. If you forgot call her up and tell her something nice.
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to get my mother this year. I had considered getting her some really nice makeup from Sephora but did not have time to check out what she has when I was there last. SO I had to make due with delving into amazon a bit in search of something nice.
The book is from one of the authors she likes and I know she hasn’t had a chance to read it yet. I have to admit that this gift is a little selfish. I too love John Connolly and want to borrow this badly!
My mother only recently got an iPad and has a bit of difficulty with the keyboard. I really liked this one since the cover for the keyboard bends to create a stand. I was really impressed with the quality of the material and didn’t know that if you put the over back on your keyboard it will automatically power off the keyboard. The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is that the keyboard uses batteries instead of a battery pack.
In addition to getting this stuff for my mom I am going over today to make some lunch for her. I’m making teriyaki shrimp kabobs with quinoa on the side and some watermelon because it is finally starting to feel like summer. Keep and eye out for the recipe on Wednesday!
